天草地方にある世界文化遺産「天草の崎津集落」内にある教会。
教会の建物は、独特の和風建築が特徴で、日本の伝統的な建築様式と西洋の教会建築が融合した美しい外観です。
この地は、1569年にルイス・デ・アルメイダ神父によってキリスト教の布教が行われ、1638年の
禁教令以後も、激しい弾圧を受けながら240年間にわたって信仰を守り続けた隠れキリシタンたちが集まる場所として使われていました。

Located within the World Cultural Heritage site “Sakitsu Village in Amakusa,”
this church is known for its distinctive architecture—a harmonious blend of traditional Japanese design and Western church style, creating a uniquely beautiful exterior.
Christianity was first introduced to this region in 1569 by Father Luís de Almeida.
Even after the 1638 ban on Christianity, this place served as a gathering point for the Kakure Kirishitan (Hidden Christians),
who continued to protect their faith for 240 years despite severe persecution.

鯛夢トンネル（たいむ）を抜けるとえびすさんの見守る267ｍの白砂浜ビーチへ。
不知火海に面した静かな海で、子供たちも安心して遊べます。

Passing through the “Taimu Tunnel” leads you to a 267-meter stretch of white-sand beach, watched over by Ebisu, the guardian deity.
Facing the tranquil Shiranui Sea, this quiet beach offers a safe and relaxing place for children to play.

家族での釣りにオススメ。メインの釣り場は、長波止の沖向き。
人気がある釣りは、チヌやマダイを狙った投げ釣りです。
釣った魚は民泊道場でお料理できます。

A great fishing spot for families, with the main area being the long offshore breakwater.
The most popular style here is shore casting, aiming for black porgy (chinu) and red sea bream (madai).
You can bring your catch back to Minpaku Dōjō, where it can be prepared and enjoyed.

絶滅危惧種に指定されている生物も生息しています。
海に囲まれた島で、干潮時には干潟が現れて、島へ歩いて渡れることもできます。

This small island is surrounded by the sea, and during low tide, a tidal flat appears—allowing you to walk across to the island on foot.

古代から天草の人々が霊山として仰ぐ、天草諸島最高峰（標高682m）の「倉岳」。
漁の安全を祈願して建てられた倉岳神社は、その山頂にあります。
眼下には不知火海(八代海)の穏やかな海や御所浦の島々、反対側は有明海から雲仙ま
で見渡せます。見晴らし抜群スポット。天草の雄大な自然を感じることができます。

Kuradake, the highest peak of the Amakusa Islands at 682 meters, has long been revered by the people of Amakusa as a sacred mountain.
At its summit stands Kuradake Shrine, built to pray for safety at sea.
From the mountaintop, you can look down over the serene Shiranui Sea (Yatsushiro Sea) and the islands of Goshoura,
while on the opposite side, views stretch all the way from the Ariake Sea to Mount Unzen.
It is one of the most spectacular viewpoints in the region, offering a profound sense of Amakusa’s majestic natural beauty.

天草で１番の人気釣り場。
ハイシーズンにはサビキ釣りでアジやコノシロがよく釣れるので、休日には家族連れでとて
も賑わいます。
ちょっとした朝の散歩にもよし。釣ったアジなどは民泊道場で大きければ刺身。小ぶりなら
フライや天ぷらにしてお召し上がり頂けます。

One of the most popular fishing spots in all of Amakusa.
During the high season, sabiki fishing yields plenty of horse mackerel (aji) and gizzard shad (konoshiro), making it a lively place filled with families on weekends.
It’s also perfect for a refreshing morning walk.
At Minpaku Dōjō, your catch can be prepared for you—
larger aji can be served as sashimi, while smaller ones can be fried or made into tempura.

上天草市松島町樋合島のそばにある高杢島（たかもくじま）は、標高138.5m、周囲1.9kmの無人
島です。その三角形の美しい姿から「天草富士」と呼ばれています。
干潮時になると砂地が現れ、島に渡れるようになります。
砂州を渡っていくと金毘羅宮の鳥居があり、その奥には1時間程度の登山道があります。

Takamoku Island, located near Hinoe Island in Matsushima, Kami-Amakusa,
is an uninhabited island standing 138.5 meters tall with a circumference of 1.9 km.
Its elegant triangular shape has earned it the nickname “Amakusa Fuji.”
During low tide, a sandy path appears, allowing visitors to walk across to the island.
As you cross the sandbar, you’ll find the torii gate of Konpira Shrine,
and beyond it, a hiking trail that takes about an hour to reach the summit.

釣りスポットとして人気があり、朝夕のアジやキス、クロダイ、冬のメバルなど釣れる魚の種類がとても多く釣り人には楽しめるスポットです。
クロダイが釣れたなら民泊道場でお刺身にし愉しめます。

This spot is especially popular among anglers, offering a wide variety of fish throughout the year—
horse mackerel (aji) and sillago (kisu) in the morning and evening,
black porgy (kurodai), winter rockfish (mebaru), and many more.
It’s a place where fishing enthusiasts can truly enjoy the diversity of the sea.
If you happen to catch a kurodai, you can bring it back to Minpaku Dōjō,
where we can prepare it as fresh sashimi for you to enjoy.

樋合島に位置する釣りスポットとして知られています。シーズンによっては、イカ、サワラ、タイなどが釣れます。近くには樋合海水浴場（パールサンビーチ）があり、マリンスポーツが楽しめます。

This fishing spot, located on Hinoe Island, is well-known among anglers.
Depending on the season, you can catch squid, Spanish mackerel, red sea bream, and more.
Nearby, you’ll also find Hinoe Beach (Pearl Sun Beach), where visitors can enjoy a variety of marine sports.

坊主島は無人島で、椚島と樋島の間にあり、樋島を天草上島と結ぶための架橋の島です。

Bōzu Island is an uninhabited island located between Kunugi Island and Hishima.
It serves as a connecting island for the bridge that links Hishima to Kami-Amakusa’s main island.

早朝なら漁師さんの水揚げがみれることもあり、海沿い散歩が愉しめるスポットです。

In the early morning, you may even catch a glimpse of local fishermen bringing in their haul.
It’s a lovely spot for a relaxing seaside walk.
